I know right? Democrats have had a super majority for how long now yet still it's the Republicans fault that the agenda isn't progressing. I'm sure the majority will find a way to blame these Republicans as well!Being a Virginia native, I don't see our election as any type of reflection on Obama or his agenda. Deeds just ran a ridiculously awful campaign. In reality, Virginia liberals are pretty conservative. Deeds tried to run away from Obama early on and I think that really hurt him with his base. Then he focused on a term paper that McDonnell wrote. He never really presented a plan. Sadly for Virginians, there was little real debate. McDonnell simply ran a "don't screw up and say something like Macaca" campaign. Oh well, they were nearly identical candidates.
