Debatable on abilities. The C64 did have an advantage that the software houses didn't cripple titles by trying to maintain compatibility with older models like they did with Atari trying to support 400 and 800 models as long as they had 48k upgrades so they could access 60k or so automatically.The same happened in the 16-bit market when software houses always seemed to ship their wares on 360k disks - and never 720k - for the Atari ST thanks to Atari blundering an opting to ship those damn SF354 single sided drives instead of making the SF314 the standard. And then we had to contend with the Amiga folk with having a 160k advantage on their disks since they didn't try at all to support PC-DOS disk file format pseudo-compatibility..

I've been on a tour of this boat when she was in NZ on a fundraising tour of the country.Despite the small size she is amazingly comfortable in rough seas - capable of having something like 5m of water above the windscreen.She was silver then and didn't look quite as hardcore as she does here.It's an amazing engineering achievement, that boat.?

Let it tank? I don't know about you, but I rather risk a failed bail out then have 30+% unemployment, and a recession turn into a depression. Sure it might recover, but by the time it happens on it's own, we will all be dead. The government will have to spend either way, while I support the bailout for future preservation, I think all the head people should be fired from their jobs with no bonuses for any company that had to take a bailout.
